Reaching belonging is hard

Good environments, participation, kindness and diversity

Belonging is very important as you feel more comfortable and secure with life if you belong. Having more openings for people to mix and socialize with other places especially into social activities or sport would help with belonging. Community centres are busy, and it is hard to get a space in programs for new people. More social activities would make things better.

Build connections; we need good environments first, then we can  encourage people to participate in activities. Don’t forget diversity as well, it is very important.

The most difficult part is accepting each other. Treating people in a kind way and making accessing service easy.

It is really hard to reach the word belonging and to fit in a community especially here in Halton.
