True belonging happens when we show up as we are and are met with acceptance

When it comes to belonging, I wish more people realized how many of us quietly struggle with it.
We often judge ourselves by where we are in life or by what we have (or don’t have). But the truth is - you don’t need to have it all figured out to belong. You are worthy and enough just as you are. Embracing that truth opens the door to deeper connection, both with ourselves and with others.
To me, belonging means feeling seen, valued, and truly connected. It matters so much because I believe that, at our core, we are meant to move through life together, not alone.
This became even more clear to me during a time of big life transitions - navigating a divorce, leaving a job, and rebuilding parts of my life from the ground up. I felt isolated, and it made me realize how deeply we all need a sense of real community for healing and growth.
I believe we can create more belonging by making it a more open and ongoing conversation. It starts with creating safe spaces - places where people can express themselves without fear of judgment.
That’s why I continue to host events, workshops, and group gatherings that are welcoming, inclusive, and heart-centered. For me, it’s about holding space for people to show up exactly as they are, share their stories, and realize they’re not alone in their struggles.
Through building this community, I’ve learned how powerful it is when we let go of perfection and show up with authenticity. When we create space for people to simply be themselves, we make it easier for everyone to feel connected and like they truly belong.
