About the event

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: Connecting with Partners, Funders & Community Voices

This two-hour, hands-on workshop explores what stakeholder engagement really means for grassroots and emerging organizations.

Stakeholder engagement is about building relationships, fostering trust, and promoting a shared sense of ownership. It means drawing the people who matter most - community members, volunteers, funders, partners, and those directly impacted - into the work in meaningful ways. It's how organizations stay connected, relevant, and trusted in their community; how they ensure that their programs, advocacy, and energy are guided by the very people they exist to serve.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover how stakeholder engagement fosters effective planning, advocacy, and informed decision-making

  • Identify and map key stakeholders - including partners, funders, and community voices
