About the event

Join us for an afternoon of learning and connection at the Halton Hills Public Library in Georgetown. For the past 2 years, Community Development Halton has been working with a team of dedicated peer researchers to collect stories of resilience and insights for social change from our neighbours experiencing homelessness across Halton. We would like to share some of these insights with you through guided activities based on the stories of real people in your community. Our event will also include opportunities to collaborate together in search of actions we might take as citizens and residents of North Halton to advocate and support those impacted by the housing crisis. We hope to see you there! 

 

Participants will have opportunities to:

  • Hangout in a Public Living Room, a space where you can come as you are and simply belong!

  • Meet members of our team as we share about our ongoing…
