Community Data Watch Friday is an opportunity to learn about our community through data and meaningful conversation. This month’s CDW looks at who in Halton relies on social assistance and what daily life actually looks like for those navigating programs like Ontario Works and ODSP. The findings show that many residents continue to live far below the poverty line and struggle to afford essentials like rent and food. The data highlights broader systemic gaps in housing, income adequacy, and access to supports that continue to shape people’s lives across the region.
