About the event
The nonprofit sector in Ontario contributes 7.9 % to the province’s GDP, translating to about $65.4 billion in economic output.
There are close to 1,000 nonprofits in Halton, supporting community health, creating opportunities through sport, recreation and culture, protecting our environment, welcoming newcomers, and supporting the well-being of residents from all walks.
Based on community dialogue over the past two years, a group of nonprofit leaders have come together to develop Impact Halton Coalition, whose mandate is to advocate for and build a strong nonprofit sector supporting the many diverse communities of Halton Region.
Join us on November 28th from 8:30am - 12:00pm at the Polish Banquet Hall in Burlington for Celebrating the Sector - Building a Strong Halton Nonprofit Sector Together.
