Join us for “Building Community Together: Advancing Asset-Based Community Development for a Strong Halton.”
This two-day Civic Lab by CDH* brings community leaders, organizations, and residents together to explore the power of assets in driving change. Through interactive sessions, real-life stories, and collaborative planning, you’ll learn practical ABCD tools, strategies to reinvigorate volunteerism, and ways to center lived experience in community building. Leave with actionable steps and a network committed to creating vibrant, connected communities—plus an invitation to a year-long Community of Practice for ongoing support.
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
Understand Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) foundations and core processes.
Learn how to apply ABCD principles in their work.
Explore ABCD’s role in reinvigorating volunteerism and civic engagement.
