Key Dates

  • May 1st, 2026 - Candidate nominations open

  • August 21st, 2026 at 2:00pm - Deadline to register as a candidate

  • October 26th, 2026 - Election Day

How to Vote

You can vote in a municipal election if you:

  • Are a Canadian citizen

  • Are 18 years of age or older

  • Live in the municipality (or own/rent property there)

Visit RegisterToVoteON.ca to:

  • Check your registration (makes voting easier)

  • Update your details

What ID Do You Need?

To vote, you must bring one piece of identification showing your name and address
