Near and Dear Milton

Near and Dear Milton is a collaborative Community Development Halton - Community Data Watch event presented in partnership with the Milton Public Library.

Whether you work in the nonprofit sector, volunteer with a local organization, own a business in Milton, work for the municipality, belong to a service club, lead a grassroots initiative, are a  faith leader, or are simply someone who holds Milton near and dear to your heart, this event is for you.

Join fellow community builders to explore Milton's evolving story through both data and lived experience. Together, we'll learn about key socio-demographic trends shaping the Milton community, share local knowledge and observations, identify strengths and opportunities, and discuss challenges facing residents today and in the future.

Participants will also get a preview of new Census indicators and help shape how upcoming Census data can be used to support planning, collaboration, advocacy, and community action across Milton.
