About the event
Community Data Watch is a chance to learn about the highlights of Community Development Halton' latest research. After a presentation this is a chance for questions and conversation on how we can individually and collectively use the information.
In October we will focus on the nonprofit sector, using new Statistics Canada’s Canadian Business Counts data.
The data paints a picture of a backbone sector in Halton that is under significant stress. The paper is a call to action to understand the sector, the stressors and necessary actions needed to support it and in doing so support community.
If you are working in the nonprofit sector, volunteering in Halton or even use the services of a Halton nonprofit there will be something for you during this call.
