meeting-human-needIn June 1996, the Halton Social Planning Council initiated a program of study to track the consequences of funding reductions to human service agencies and the people they serve. This report illustrates how federal, provincial and regional funding cuts in the community-based human service sector have affected Halton. Survey results identify emerging trends in the following areas: general administration, detailed service information, funding sources, gaps in service, and many other issues. This report also discusses testimony from members of human service agencies and their predictions for the future.
